We were one of the first Assisted Living Facilities in Georgetown and remain one of the only Alzheimers Certified Facility in the city. We've also established additional healthcare companies that serve locally. Experience and innovation matter.
Our story has a personal beginning and is what drives us to provide incomparable care. Therefore, our values will differ from large conglomerate companies. Our metrics include YOU and quality care; not just numbers and dollar signs.
Our design philosophy begins with our unique floor plan. We shunned the corridor model where rooms are situated along hallways and common areas are separated. Instead, we designed rooms to situate closely to each other and main areas. This is beneficial for the following reasons. LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY.
Promotes Socialization
Provides an environment similar to one’s home
Promotes Safety- residents aren't lost or stuck in hallways
Amenities of the facility are immediately available
Staff members can easily monitor and quickly respond to residents needing assistance
For individuals with dementia, clear lines of site to areas available for them, promotes use of amenities
With city surroundings, beautiful amentities, and outdoor accessibility, we give a perfect balance of City and Country Living.

The care my parents receive is exemplary. The staff is kind and friendly. I have the upmost trust in the care they receive. An absolute blessing to my parents and our family.
Mom is a resident at GTL. My siblings and I love our mom dearly and are so grateful to have found GTL. GTL is more like a home and not an institution. The staff are attentive, caring and treat mom and all the residents like family. The team is accessible and responsive to any request. We are thankful and our family is blessed to have our mom at GTL.
Georgetown Living has been the perfect place for my mother to feel safe, secure and well taken care of. They have a wonderful variety of activities to engage a wide range of interests. It has taken such a burden of worry off my family's and my shoulders seeing how well mom is cared for. We're so thankful and grateful for Georgetown Living!
Georgetown Living has been a blessing for me because Harry is in a caring place and he is also safe there, which gives me enormous peace of mind. The staff always responds to my special requests for Harry in a loving way. Harry even refers to GL as the Caring Place, even though he misses living at home with me every day. He has made some special friends at Georgetown Living and they eat their meals together. Harry receives all his medications in a timely and consistent manner.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Georgetown Living family. My family and I wish for you a wonderful 2023. We have had some perilous times these last few years. I do believe 2023 will be a year of hope. I am thankful for the love and support our God has given us during the last few troublesome years. "Coach" is coming upon two years in February of living with you and being cared for by you. Each one in our family is very grateful for the love and care you lave given him. For sure your jobs are not easy ones, but you are always smiling and seem happy to see us when we arrive. "Coach" seems to be happy there for which we are thankful. We are grateful for the time you take from your busy schedules to answer our questions and your patience with us when we sometimes don't understand something. What a blessing each of you are! Thank you for answering the call upon your lives to come and care for those who can no longer be cared for at home. What a blessing each of you are. Please know that we are so appreciative of you, love you and pray for you daily. We are thankful our paths have crossed, and our dad, grandad, uncle, friend, and husband has you in his life. God bless you and restore back to you all of the love and energy you give out to each of those in your care.I am humbled and grateful for your love and care of my sweet husband
This place is the real deal. They don’t just say they care about your loved one, they REALLY do care! It is obvious watching how dad responds to the caregivers, he likes them and is loved by them.
We moved Mom to Georgetown Living right before COVID. Mom had Dementia and had just had a big fall. We realized that we were not able to care for Mom from home. It was a very difficult decision for us. However, the staff at GL truly made the transition as comfortable as possible for us.
The rooms are laid out perfectly with respect to the common areas so that the staff can keep track of everyone as they go in and out of their rooms. The staff was extremely (and consistently) competent, caring, and dedicated.
Caught with conflicting emotions [and] racked by guilt if I am doing the right thing; is this the right choice; will she be happy. I went on such a personal pilgrimage a little less that a year ago and I found Georgetown Living. My wife has been a resident there since early June of 2017. Within a week it was clear that I had made the right choice.
My mother has been at Georgetown Living for over a year. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place...The staff also keeps me informed all the time. That especially important during these COVID times.
I feel blessed and at peace to have my mom in a place where she is cared for and loved.
To the entire team at Tranquility- thank you so much for the incredible care you all provide David in his last months. Your love and compassion for him and our family made such a difference in our lives. We cannot thank you enough- we are forever grateful!
I have witnessed visits by therapy dogs, violin performances, bingo games, and non denominational religious services. Georgetown Living has several outside garden areas and a fish pond which are peaceful and contained. Thank you Georgetown Living!!!
My husband's situation was very difficult and complicated upon his arrival. There has been a miraculous change in him due to the combination of the knowledge of Char, Jane and the loving care of the staff. The expertise care and understanding of my husband's condition has now created a peaceful life, not only for him, but for me, knowing the quality of care he receives. I live with the peace that no matter what time of the day or night, he is receiving not only quality but loving care. Thank you, Georgetown Living for doing this for my husband, for me, and for my children.
The staff at this assisted living facility goes above and beyond! The knowledge of Alzheimer’s and memory care is top notch. The staff to patient ratio is amazing they really take the time to take care of each individual person. Would recommend it to anyone looking for specialized care for a loved one.
Every time I visited my mother, I was 100% confident she was being treated very well. If you are considering this kind of place, I recommend you visit them. The top people are especially impressive in their dedication to their residents.
My mom has been at GTown Living for 3 months now and I have been pleased. She came in almost unresponsive and on hospice after being over-medicated at the hospital. She was hospitalized for dehydration while at a nursing home, which exacerbated her heart problems. Within 24 hours GTL had her sitting up and complaining, a huge improvement. :)
Georgetown Living is simply not a "facility" They treat my parents as if they are "family." When calling, I receive a detailed update about their daily activities and mental and physical well being. I visit often, and I admire the front line caregivers who work hard and go the extra mile.
Come visit us and take a tour! Contact us by phone, email, or submit the form for any questions you may have. We look forward to hearing from you!
